Sesame Plant Manufacturers Explain How To Improve Sesame Yield

- Aug 16, 2018 -

Sesame is a kind of commonly used food in our life, but its use is not only as food, but also as feed, fertilizer, vegetable oil and so on. Sesame nutritional value is quite high, in the market economic value is very good, the demand is relatively large, but a lot of time the production of sesame is not high, then I will tell you how to improve the production of sesame.

1. Site selection.

Sesame is not a high demand for the land to grow, and often grow sesame land will become more fertile, but in the preparation of the soil we should pay attention to the soil loose, leveling the land, weeds removed, and then dig the soil ridge, open a good drainage ditch, so as to control the sesame in the growth process of water. Selection of seeds to choose good varieties, that is, a moderate amount of ability, resistance, high yield comprehensive better seeds, good varieties is the most basic requirement for high yield.

2. Sowing mode

Sesame seeds are usually sown in two ways, the first is double-layer sowing, that is, in a piece of land first sprinkled with a layer of seeds and then covered with soil and then sprinkled with a second layer of seeds in the same way. One advantage of this approach is that when the weather is dry, the first layer of seeds can absorb water from the ground to sprout and grow seedlings, while the second layer of seeds can fully grow seedlings when it rains, and can be transplanted when the seedlings grow to 56 centimeters. And the second way is only in the sky and the earth in accordance with a certain interval of direct seedling, but then there will be a seedling phenomenon, so timely seedling replenishment.

3. Field management

Field management involves fertilization, weeding and other daily routines, but it's a big deal for sesame, and if it's not handled properly, it's a serious yield reduction. The first fertilization is after transplanting or when the seedlings grow to five to ten centimeters, which is to grow seedlings, the second fertilization is at the time of flowering, and the nutrients needed are the most, so it must be timely to supplement the soil nutrients, soil nitrogen fertilization and root spraying phosphorus, potassium and boron fertilizer combined. About a week after flowering, potassium dihydrogen phosphate is applied. When the main stem grows to a certain height, to remove the top bud, because it needs the largest nutrients, so in order to reduce unnecessary nutrient consumption to remove in time.

4.disease prevention

Sesame is prone to leaf blight and small ground tiger, so we have to carry out timely treatment, leaf blight will lead to the death of the whole plant wilt, the consequences are very serious, and small ground tiger especially love to eat sesame, so in order to ensure the yield, or as soon as possible to eliminate it.

5, timely harvesting

Sesame harvesting is crucial. If the capsule of the sesame is cracked too late, the sesame will fall to the ground. When you harvest it, there will be little left, and it can't be harvested too early. Sesame is not ripe at that time, so the best time to harvest is to wait until most of the sesame seeds are harvested. The two leaves are yellow and fall off, and the bottom part of the capsule is slightly cracked and can be harvested.
